About the Author
Barbara Kline Hammond, author of “Cancer’s Gifts” and “Victory: How to Organize to Survive a Cancer Diagnosis,” and manager of Serenity Gardens LLC, is an accomplished marketing consultant who has worked and lectured on three continents, Ms. Hammond been in the public eye for more than 20 years. She has a B.A. in Sociology, a master’s in Transformational Studies, and a doctorate in Spiritual Studies.
After moving to New Mexico in 1999, she found herself looking for a calmer and less hectic experience. A cancer diagnosis left her with a compromised immune system and the need to modify a lifestyle that consisted of 50-75% travel. From the seeds of her new circumstances came her books, and The Day Spa at Serenity Gardens, a beautiful, serene setting in the Corrales Bosque where skilled professionals offer massage, facials, body wraps, and nail treatments in an environment designed to be both relaxing and nurturing. She is also Executive Director of CanSurvival, a non-profit dedicated to assisting those diagnosed with cancer with the extreme social and economic changes that a cancer diagnosis can bring.
She is available for book signings, readings, and workshops on surviving — and thriving — under adverse circumstances. 505-720-6593 or bkline@breakthrucom.com
